Our History
Our Heritage

Gaston Electronics was founded in 1975 as a derivative company of Gaston County Dyeing Machine Company, a
world leader in the OEM design and manufacture of textile dyeing equipment. Since 1921, GCDMC has been
known for its first of a kind technology, and as a pioneer of the automated dyeing system. With the decline
in US manufacturing of fabric, the Electronics Division of GCDMC was established as a separate company, later
to be known as Gaston Electronics. Much of the seasoned resource used in the design and building of the highly
complex electrical control panels used in textile equipment provides leadership to Gaston Electronics today.
As a privately held, $15-$30 M company, Gaston Electronics has the facilities and skill set to support the
most demanding OEM requirements.
